Aaron Root (1994)


Aaron is a third generation owner. He has held several positions during his career here at Root Brothers. Aaron now serves as President overseeing the sales and marketing of Root Brothers. His drive is to provide the very best customer service to our customers by focusing on our core values. With his leadership, the company has grown as he encourages each employee to perform to the company’s highest standards. His example of leadership has proven to be one of the company’s greatest assets. Aaron is an OIF veteran and applies the same leadership to Root Brothers as he did as an officer in the United States Navy.

Vice-President - Operations

Gary is a third generation owner at Root Brothers. He serves as Vice President. In this position, he is responsible for the daily operation of the business and defining our long term goals. He integrates our financial strength into satisfying the technological and distribution expectations of our customers. His focus has resulted in our long term viability as a supply chain partner to our customers.

Senior Account Manager

Mike is a designated Account Manager who approaches his role with a competitive spirit that drives him to provide immediate responsiveness and in-depth service to our customers. His sales management and professionalism provides our existing and new customers with confidence. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships is what separates him from others in the field. He also instructs and holds new junior account managers to his standards as well provides administrative help for the sales department.

Gary Miller (2013)

Telecom Specialist/Senior Account Manager

Gary comes to Root Brothers with over 33 years of Telecom experience. He started with Illinois Bell as Lineman and later became a cable splicer as well as doing some repair work when needed. During the course of his career he saw many mergers leading up to AT&T. Gary spent 15+ years on staff as a technical support manager while spending his last 10 years doing technical product evaluation and support. Gary’s acumen and experience make him a valuable asset to our telecom team.

Outside Account Manager

Jeff is a person who perceives challenges as opportunities. He typifies the customer service mindset by providing an important value added element in all his dealings. His diverse knowledge of products allows him to address each of their needs which in turn help ensure the short and long-term success of the customers he serves. Jeff represents himself and Root Brothers with the kind of professionalism that is rare today.

Inside Account Manager

Charlene has seen many changes over her career with Root Brothers and has held several roles until being promoted to her current position. As an inside account manager, her extensive knowledge and experience provides both customers and fellow associates with quick access to solutions. Charlene brings almost three decades of product knowledge to assist our customers in sourcing their supply chain needs.

Inside Account Manager

Rebecca is a strong member of the Root Brothers Team. As a Municipal/Industrial Sales Manager, Rebecca’s background in the Fastener industry has helped our customers gain the best possible success. Rebecca listens carefully to her customer’s needs providing quotes, options, expedites – all in the quickest manner possible. Working closely with our customers allows Rebecca to find the most beneficial supply solution, which in turn creates lasting professional relationships.

Inside Account Manager

Jennifer has over 10 years of customer service experience, and she has learned that word of mouth can make or break a company. A positive experience is appreciated, but a negative experience spreads like wildfire. She treats everyone she comes across with care and respect, and is loyal to a fault. She will try to meet and exceed expectations. Without customers, there is no business, so she values the customers that keep this business going.

Account Manager

Jarred is a fourth-generation member of the Root Brothers family, and he has been working in the industry since he was a young boy. He learned the ropes from his father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather, who taught him the values of hard work, integrity and customer satisfaction. Jarred is passionate about building strong relationships with our clients and delivering high-quality products and services. Using his experience in Supply Chain Management and Analytics; he is always ready to go the extra mile to meet customers’ needs and expectations. Whether it's finding the best solutions for their challenges, negotiating the best prices for their orders, or ensuring timely and accurate delivery of their goods.

Account Manager

With over 25 years in the MRO market, Ted’s capabilities and knowledge are what make him a true asset to Root Brothers. He came up in the industry, starting in warehouse positions and as he gained experience and knowledge he worked his way up to an account manager. Ted’s abilities and exceptional follow-through have put him in place to oversee the day-to-day operations of order processing and logistics for our customers.

Account Manager

Jerald has a wide array of experience, working in Minor League Baseball, Fabrication Shop and in Sales, coupled with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Those things together have allowed him to take a business approach to sales rather than the old fashion style. He wants to make sure that the solutions he provides to his customer will make sense in all aspects. He strives to provide the best service to his customers’ that he can and he does this by putting in the work when most people will not.

Accounts Receivable Manager

Anna is an innovative problem solver paying close attention to details. The needs and expectations of the customer are her motivation. Her expertise is taking information and delivering a solution which benefits both her internal and external customers. Her leadership qualities are only the beginning of her numerous abilities which she uses in her role as Account Receivable Manager.

Accounts Payable Manager

Dori’s experiences exemplify how hard work and a hunger for knowledge can contribute to a company’s success. While holding many titles over the years with the company, she has never failed to help keep the company focused on its people, including customer and associates. It does not matter which hat Dori is wearing: Office Manager or Accounts Payable Supervisor, she shares her work experiences while continuing to build her own knowledge.

Cindy Perez’s education and work experience in customer service make her a valuable asset in building successful relationships. She pays exemplary attention to detail in everything she does, and she works to stay ahead of daily tasks in order to better assist her customers and colleagues. Cindy is willing to go that extra mile, and along with her keen insight into business operations, she has a strong commitment to fulfilling her customers’ needs. Cindy enjoys learning all there is to know about her customer’s business in order to better assist them with their production needs and support with any challenges that may arise.
