When Martin, Herman & Nathan Root opened the doors of Root Brothers to the community in 1923, they had one basic belief in mind–that only by serving the customer on a very close basis can we provide the customer the service that they deserve.
Originally located near the historic Pullman district in what is now the Roseland community of Chicago, Root Brothers Manufacturing and Supply Company was built on the foundation of hard work, traditional values and excellent service. As the needs of our customers increased, Root Brothers expanded its ability to supply services to better suit our clients’ needs.
Today Root Brothers has over 160,000 sq. ft. in four regional locations holding more than 240,000 SKUs in stock and ready for shipment. Community involvement, excellent service and traditional values–these are what Root Brothers was founded on nearly a century ago.
Since then, our 2nd and 3rd generations have assumed responsibility for the company, following the original values and bringing them into the internet age. Root Brothers is a federal-licensed, service-disabled American Veteran company.
